Pilates
Pilates is a soft form of gymnastics. During a pilate session you get to know your body, you work on your deep muscles and you use your mind and spirit to coordinate your movements with your breathing.
The objective of a regular practice is to tone up your muscles and to improve your concentration, your flexibility and your breathing.
The benefits of PILATES
- Release tension through breathing: breathing in and out at specific times and during gentle movements oxygenates the muscles and therefore relaxes them.
- Working the muscles: the deep muscles are called upon and work throughout the session. The body is smoothly strengthened, and the figure is refined.
- Improve your flexibility: the regularity of the exercises will help you to gain elasticity.
- Work on body coordination and concentration: the sequence of movements coordinated with breathing requires permanent concentration.
- Alleviate back pain: the work of the postural muscles supports the spine
Who is it for?
Pilates is accessible to all and classes are held in semi-private or private settings and will be adapted to your needs.
